Expand your capabilities with the use of a router table to handle small work pieces, do pattern routing, cut woodworking joints, and turn your router into a jointer. This class is a continuation of the Router Techniques I class, and is intended for students with some experience operating a router. A demonstration and plans for building your own router table will be provided. Students may bring their own router to customize fixtures for their machine. Blind dado joints, box finger joints, rabbet/dado joints, and dovetail dado joints will be demonstrated. Students will have an opportunity for hands-on practice of the skills presented.
What to bring:
- Eye protection is required for hands-on activities – safety glasses will be provided during the class if you don’t have your own.
- Hearing protection is highly recommended.
- Wearing of masks is encouraged – N95 mask is recommended.
- Your own router if you have one.
