| Calling all Makerspace and Tool Library members and supporters
Join the Makerspace/Tool Library Drill Team and help make this year’s Strawberry Festival Parade entry our best one yet. We get a little bigger and a little better every year. What a great way to show your support and promote the library and makerspace. It’s loose. It’s casual. it’s FUN!
We meet this Saturday in the staging area on the highway south of town at 10:15 AM, do a little “organizing” (I use the term loosely), Parade starts at 11 and winds up by noon.We walk about 1.5 miles, periodically performing our “routine”. If you have a rechargeable drill bring it along, if not we have some from the library. We need banner carriers as well. Wear comfortable walking shoes and any tool / handyperson / tradesperson attire you wish. We will have some safety vests and hardhats to round out our “uniform” I will email final directions Thursday evening after I get our entry number from the parade organizers.
