Six Board Chest

In this class, you will build a small storage chest, similar to a blanket chest, using a classic construction method that dates back to the Middle Ages.  It is a versatile technique well worth learning and adaptable to most “case-constructed” furniture forms, including bookcases, bureaus, blanket chests, benches, and many more.  The mixed-use of machine tools and hand tools that you will learn to use makes the work fun and fast!     This is not a beginning level class

Thursday evenings from 6:15 – 8:45, May 9th to June 13th (6 sessions – 15 hours)

Fee $300 + materials $55
